Any recommendations for a CBD for anxiety depression with no (or trace) THC? I don’t want to go medical yet, just want to try it to see if there are benefits for me first.
The doses used in this study (25 mg/d to 175 mg/d) were much lower than those reported in some of the clinical literature (300 mg/d to 600 mg/d)12–14,17 for 2 reasons. The first is that in our experience lower doses appear to elicit an adequate clinical response. Second, the current retail cost of CBD would make the use of 600 mg/d cost prohibitive.
Cannatonic works great for reducing that negative depressing energy. When I have a bad day/stress or just feeling pre-occupied a .3g joint fixes me right up. A soft reset, in other words.
I looked up proper dosing for CBD it said 2-6mg per 10lbs of body weight
My daughter takes Redecan CBD Gems. Almost 10 mg of CBD and .48 of THC. Works great for her anxiety and depression.
Hello guys, i am new here. I have severe Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis and I will be trying CBD oil but I am already hesistant about placing a few drops of oil under the tongue so just checking here to ask if taking capsules will work equally as well as the oil under the tongue please? Thanks.
I get some relief within 15-20 minutes of tablet ingestion and relief is full-tilt within 45 minutes, just like taking an aspirin or some other pain pill. Relief duration is 4-8 hours depending on the day, previous CBD dose, etc. I'm taking 25mg tablets from SummitCBD, 1 in the AM, 1 at 2PM and 2 an hour prior to bed. This is for pain relief and to calm my anxiety.
The bioavailability is lower for capsules. Around 5% compared to 25-30% for sublingual.
Even though sublingual is only 5% behind vape's 40% and oral is only 6-15% available I went the oral route due to personal preferences. I don't want to mess with the oil and holding and all that and vaping wasn't in the picture for me. I knew I'd pay a price for that as I'd have to consume more CBD to get the same effect and pay somebody to make the tablets or capsules vs using isolate powder/oil but so be it.
We found very little benefit encouraging capsules vs. sublinguals etc. as a typical capsule can absorb at as low as 10%
