For relief and pain management, people with chronic pain use topical CBD products, particularly CBD oil. CBD oil is produced by extracting CBD from a cannabis plant, after which it is diluted with a carrier oil like hemp seed oil or coconut oil. CBD oil reduces inflammation, pain, anxiety, insomnia and sleep disorders, and a variant of discomforting health conditions.
A popular ask gaining momentum in the minds of researchers, health enthusiasts, and CBD users is, “Is CBD the same as THC?”
(CBD) is an acronym for cannabinoid, a chemical naturally found in cannabis (hemp and marijuana) plants. This naturally occurring chemical is one of over 100 chemical compounds within the cannabinoids family. It is scientifically called Cannabis sativa.
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) also functions in regulating phenomena like appetite, pain, sleep, immune system response, inflammation, and anxiety. Hence, the relationship between ECS and CBD is a union fit for humankind’s health. CBD in all its glorious variant forms – oil, lotion, drugs, salve, capsules, etc. – are beneficial, organic, and a natural remedy for treating many ailments.
The non-psychoactive quality of CBD makes it the go-to option for people who are on the lookout for relief from pain and other symptoms without experiencing the mind-altering effects of marijuana or certain pharmaceutical drugs.
THC, also known as Tetrahydrocannabinol, is the major cannabinoid present in cannabis that causes the euphoria of getting “high”, which is frequently associated with marijuana. This euphoria feature makes THC psychoactive (having side effects). While THC and CBD are from the same family of plants and serve the same purposes, CBD is not psychoactive. Hence, the “high” feeling commonly associated with cannabis is not occurrent with CBD. The euphoria is a side effect of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a different kind of cannabinoid.
There has been a lot of understudy to CBD’s interaction with and effect on pain. A general concession reached for these studies is that a core element of the Endocannabinoid (ECS) receptors in your brain and the immune system interact with CBD. These receptors are proteins neurotransmitters that receive mostly chemical signals from various stimuli and help your cells and brain respond. As your body produces endocannabinoids and binds to cannabinoid receptors, chronic pain and inflammation are reduced in the course of this interaction. This interaction and responses cause anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects that help with managing your pain.
Hemp is used for constipation, high cholesterol, eczema (atopic dermatitis), arthritis, and other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses.

I wanted a cbd or hemp oil because of all the hype, and I settled on trying this one. It caught my eye for some reason and ive been taking it for a bit now. All I know that I see the reason why so many people recommend this. My sleep is so much better, and I don’t know if its because of this hemp oil, but my joint pain has decreased a considerable amount. I’ll continue to take it if it continues to work like this.
IMPROVE MEMORY, FOCUS, & CLARITY (BRAIN SUPPORT) – To keep our brains active and our memories sharpened, our brain cells need to be fluid and flexible. Hemp oil has the unique content of fatty acids and the perfect ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 that helps the brain function at its optimal level. Hemp is one of the very few ingredients found in nature that have the uncannily perfect balance of nutrition that completely coincides with the brain’s need for cannabinoids.
