Using CBD isolate as an ingredient to create end products is a common practice. You’ll find isolate-based products of nearly every type available on the market today including capsules, tinctures, balms, vape products, and more.
Common drug tests looking for marijuana use tests for the presence of the metabolite THC-COOH, the resulting molecule present in the body after THC is consumed. Since CBD isolate is stripped of all other cannabis compounds, the end product is THC-free. This means CBD isolate would not result in the failure of a drug test looking for THC use.
To make capsules all you’ll need are some veggie caps. Again, these can be found at your local health food store or online. Pop open the capsules and fill them with your CBD/oil mixture and pop it back together. A commonly used concentration is 10-25mg of CBD per capsule.
We dive more into this concept in our article which covers CBD and drug testing. You should always verify that the product your taking is free of THC by verifying lab reports, regardless of what the marketing copy says.
This last one is for recreational or medical marijuana users. You can sprinkle some CBD on top of your flower when smoking or vaping herb. The added CBD is known to ‘smooth out’ the THC-induced high. CBD is known to counteract the harsher psychoactive side of THC and produce a more enjoyable high – in addition to the added therapeutic benefits of higher CBD concentration.

There are a few types of CBD Concentrate products that can be dabbed. For many, the first and most popular is 99% Pure CBD Isolate Slab. The slab is an easier medium to manipulate than the powder and virtually created for dabbing itself. That being said, CBD Isolate Powder is also very easy to vape depending on the setup, say you have a bucket on your dab rig or a donut coil on your electronic pen.

Yes, I've done it.
I bet you could but if you haven't bought it yet just get the slab
Isolate powder and slab are the same thing. Just different forms. Slab is much easier to dab, loading powder into a pen isn't as easy, and to actually dab with a rig, I don't see how with powder. Just check out fullyactivated.net they have both. Both are $18g with code 10offanytime. It's where I get my isolate.
I've looked on this subreddit and have done some googling, but keep ending up with this same answer: "CBD Isolate Powder is great because it works well as an ingredient". Nothing else, just "good as an ingredient". Well. is it good as a dab? Does CBD Isolate Powder even melt or will it just start on fire? I may be stupid for asking this but someones gotta be the first.
Edit: using an atomizer like atmos kiln with a donut coil works descent for powder isolate.
I don't see why I wouldn't be able to, it's only ingredient is "Anhydrous hemp oil", which may have no water, but it's still oil. I only ask, because a gram of Powder is way cheaper than a gram of slab.
I actually bought this quartz atomizer for my current ecig battery. I've been doing dabs at about 7 or 8 watts depending on how full i fill it. I got it for about $6 at my local smoke shop. I used the GPen quartz tank first, but found it was too skinny so it was difficult to fill and would get quite messy. But I was thinking about getting something that'll last longer so I'll check out your suggestion. Thanks!
