You can get quite scientific about the antifungal/ Candida-fighting properties. The gist is that CBD oil contains some antimicrobial factors as well as terpene caryophyllene oxide which is a potent antifungal agent. Apparently in scientific studies the effect was comparable to pharmaceutical antifungal medication.
Based on my internet research it looks like you can estimate that you need 5-25 mg per day if not 40-60 mg or more if you have excruciating pain or regular migraines (but please do check with your doctor to find the right dose for you). So, at that rate a small bottle would only last you 1 week, 1 month if you are lucky.
How does it work?
Having recently stumbled upon CBD oil on my quest to find relief for my debilitating recurring headaches, anxiety and depression I did some research and found out that CBD oil also has antifungal properties.
Hence, I only ever took 1-2 droppers full once to twice per day as and when my anxiety/ headaches showed up.
Note: At the time of trying CBD oil I had already brought my Candida issues under control so I cannot comment on the effect it has on Candida. But I have no reason to believe it would not work due to its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
Is CBD a viable option for candida — one of the most common yeast infections in humans?
There are several methods to diagnose candida. One of them includes running an interview with the patient based on seven basic questions from the book Reset the Yeast Connection by Carolyn G.A. Dean MD ND (9).
Why People Are Turning to CBD Oil for Candida?
CBD’s anti-inflammatory benefits have been mentioned in several human and animal studies, including the 2010 review that refers to cannabinoids as “novel anti-inflammatory drugs.” (7)
CBD and other cannabinoids, such as CBC and CBG, have been identified as natural antifungal agents that may help treat candida and other fungal infections.
However, candida overgrowth doesn’t mean anything good for your body.
Royal CBD is an American company launched in California by a group of cannabis activists. The brand offers premium CBD extracts in different potency options and cannabinoid profiles to choose from. Royal CBD sells full-spectrum oil drops and capsules, THC-free gummies, and broad-spectrum topicals.
If the Candida infection is left neglected, it can result in a systemic Candidiasis, which affects many parts of the body and is usually triggered by a compromised immune system.
Why Royal CBD is the Best CBD Oil for Candida:
When it comes to CBD and Candida, we need to take a closer look at CBD’s interaction with the CB2 receptors of the endocannabinoid system — and how CBD regulates the immune response.
For those who need localized relief from Candida overgrowth, the roll-on gel should come in handy. Not only does it contain 350 mg of CBD, but it also comes infused with menthol extract to provide a cooling touch to the affected areas. Unlike many anti-inflammatory gels out there, this one is easy to apply and doesn’t leave any grease on hands thanks to its convenient applicator.
The longer pro-inflammatory compounds remain inside the system, the more intense they act on the pain receptors of the nerve cells. These compounds, known as cytokines, increase pathologic pain caused by nerve damage and also worsen the pain experience in oral and vaginal Candidiasis.
